College Scholarships

University online degrees might be more affordable than traditional ones, but they are still pretty expensive. So if you’re trying to find a solution to paying for a pricing online masters degree or a bachelor program, look no further than educational grants.

That’s right, scholarships or educational grants are the key to getting university online degrees on the cheap.

Depending at what level you choose to study, some university online degrees are cheaper than others. For example, a two-year associate degree tends to be the most affordable type of higher education. An online masters degree, being a graduate-level program, will be more expensive, even if it can also be completed within two-years.

But even if you decide to enroll with associate internet courses, you’ll most likely still need some financial assistance to pay for them. And that’s where educational grants come in.

You should know that, like traditional students, those enrolled with university online degrees are also eligible to apply for scholarships. Whether you’re pursuing an online masters degree or a bachelor program, you have a chance at getting a grant.

But you’ll need to send a lot of applications before you’ll be able to secure one (or more) scholarships for your internet courses.

To some scholarship you might not be eligible to apply. But given the sheer number of them, that won’t be a problem, you’ll find others. Some funding programs have high standards.

For example, the CIA Undergraduate Scholarship Program requires applicants to have a minimum GPA of 3.0 and 1500 SAT or 21 ACT scores or higher. Financial need also needs to be demonstrated.

The same high GPA is needed to apply for the NRF Next Generation Scholarship.

Obviously not a lot of students enrolled with university online degrees will fit this profile of academic excellence. Luckily, there are many other scholarships available out there.

For example, law students pursuing university online degrees can apply for the Lim, Ruger & Kim Scholarship. Here, the candidates must demonstrate a commitment and interest in doing pro bono work.

Or if you’re an amateur poet in your spare time, you can submit an application for The Sharon Olds Fellowship for Poetry.

As you can see students of university online degrees have lots of options when it comes to funding their internet courses.
